Prison Care Ministries is looking for a passionate, creative person to take the lead in building the social media presence for Waste-to-Worth — a community project that turns discarded materials into meaningful creations while supporting people reintegrating from the justice system.

How You'll Help Bring the Project to Life
Run a simple social media strategy for Facebook and Instagram
Create regular posts that highlight project milestones, human stories, and artwork
Work with the project team to gather content, photos, and updates
Help shape the voice and personality of the project online
Track engagement and suggest tweaks to improve content

Requirements
Enthusiastic about social media, storytelling, and community development
Confident in basic graphic design tools (Canva, etc.) and writing captions
Comfortable working independently while staying aligned with the project kaupapa
Open to attending occasional in-person sessions to gather content (optional but preferred)
You'll be supported by the project coordinator and work closely with volunteers and mentors involved in the initiative
A Ministry of Justice background check is required for this role.
Time Commitment
5-6 hours per week
