Auckland Council’s Environmental Evaluation and Monitoring Unit has a fantastic opportunity for a Coastal Water Quality Scientist to join the Water Quality team.
Our team is responsible for monitoring and reporting on the state and trends in Auckland's aquatic environments including lakes, rivers and streams, coastal and marine areas, and groundwater.
Work with our other scientists and monitoring specialists to provide scientific expertise, data analyses and reporting for our long-term water quality programmes with a key focus on coastal water quality. Help build an evidence base to support policy development and implementation, and review management interventions to improve the health of our waterbodies.
