About the role

We have an exciting opportunity available for a Project Manager within our Overhead Projects team.

As a Project Manager, you will manage a wide range of projects critical to the electricity distribution network and WEL customers.

To excel in this role, you will also be a self-motivated professional with excellent communication, organisational and negotiation skills, and a proven team player.

Responsibilities include :

Manage the successful delivery of assigned projects – both small to large network maintenance, development and customer-driven projects

Timely and accurate Progress and Financial Reporting

Ensure projects achieve regulatory requirements and meet WEL standards

Engagement and management of subcontractors

Liaison with local authorities and other key stakeholders for the initiation and delivery of projects

Apply your knowledge, experience, problem solving and decision-making skills

Build and maintain effective networks and working relationships with key stakeholders

Skills and experience

We are looking for someone who has :

At least 5 years' experience in the delivery of capital and customer driven construction projects in the electricity industry

Appropriate tertiary level technical qualification, ideally in project management

Demonstrated knowledge of, and experience in, the electricity industry

Commitment to health and safety that is second to none

A focus on delivering exceptional customer service
