About the role

Work fully remotely as an experienced Oncology Pharmacist while remaining closely connected to a small, highly specialised clinical team.

This role is ideal for someone seeking flexibility without compromising on clinical depth, collaboration, or professional standards.

You'll be providing oncology pharmacy expertise within a multidisciplinary setting, supporting safe, effective, and patient-centred cancer care. The role reports directly to a Lead Pharmacist and works alongside a close-knit team of 4-5 pharmacists, most of whom work part-time.

What you have to do

• Provide clinical oncology pharmacy support in line with New Zealand standards and best practice
• Review, verify, and support safe prescribing of oncology medicines and treatment protocols
• Contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions, offering expert medication advice
• Support quality improvement initiatives, clinical governance, and medication safety
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements

Skills and Experience

To be considered, you'll need :

• Proven oncology pharmacy experience in New Zealand (essential)
• Registration with the Pharmacy Council of NZ
• Current Annual Practising Certificate (APC)
• To be living in New Zealand
• Confidence working autonomously, with strong clinical judgement
• A collaborative approach and comfort working within a remote team model
