Medicine PhD - Research Specialist | Upto $75 / hr Remote

Join the team at Mercor as a Medicine PhD - Research Specialist, with a pay range of $75.00 / hr. This is a remote, contract position with 10-20 hours of work per week and potential for increased hours and extension.

Role Overview

  • Position : Medicine PhD Expert – Contract, Remote
  • Commitment : 10-20 hours of work per week with potential for increased hours and extension.
  • Contribute subject matter expertise to a project involving frontier large language models. Craft high-quality, challenging problems with real-world applicability to inform AI innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate asynchronously with a team of highly qualified experts across your domain.
  • Craft, solve, and review challenging problems with real-world applicability.
  • Work independently and asynchronously to meet project deadlines.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of AI model performance.
  • Engage in a fully remote and flexible work environment.

    • Requirements / Qualifications

    Must-Have Qualifications

  • Masters or PhD in Medicine from a top US university.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent proficiency in English.
  • Based in the U.S., Canada, New Zealand, UK, or Australia.

    • Engagement Details

  • Compensation : $65-75 / hour
  • Contract Type : Hourly contractor
  • Payment : Paid weekly via Stripe Connect
  • Schedule : Fully remote and asynchronous
  • Role Start Date : Late September
