About the roleNorthpower Renewables has a bold goal : to develop and invest in a pipeline of renewable generation projects over the next 5–7 years.

From solar farms to future renewable ventures, we're focused on delivering sustainable energy solutions for Aotearoa.We're looking for a Project Administration & Coordination Lead to join our team.

In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting the delivery of renewable energy projects, working closely with contractors, suppliers, councils, and Northpower teams to bring our projects to life and ensure they run smoothly from start to finish.What you'll be doingCoordinating and managing the administration of renewable energy projects.Overseeing financial processes including CAPEX requests, work orders, purchase orders, and invoice tracking.Supporting compliance, auditing, and regulatory activities as an electricity market participant.Managing property leases, land compliance, and asset maintenance within our renewables portfolio.Acting as a systems superuser for Procore, SharePoint, and other project management tools.Organising meetings, workshops, agreements, and onboarding processes for new suppliers and contractors.Building strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication across all teams.About you8–10+ years' experience in administration, finance, or project coordination.Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Financial acumen with experience in AP / AR and working knowledge of financial systems.Confidence using tools like MS Office, SharePoint, and ideally Procore.A proactive communicator who can engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.A collaborative, flexible team player who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and getting involved.What's in it for youCompetitive remuneration.An in-house well-being programme, a peer support network (Kaitiaki) and EAP services.Life Insurance and group discounted medical insurance.Commitment to professional growth and development.A friendly workplace where people are valued and appreciated.Family-friendly events and discounted gym membership along with various retail discounts.About usNorthpower is an electricity and fibre network provider for Whangarei and Kaipara, with more than 60,000 connected customers.
