Overview

Proudly part of New Zealand's manufacturing heritage, our client has been delivering high-quality rubber and polymer products for over a century. With more than 150 injection moulding and extrusion machines and in-house tool and machine production, they're leaders in innovation and precision manufacturing.

We're currently seeking a Machine Operator to join their team on night shift.

Details

Shifts available : Night Shift : 6 : 00pm - 6 : 00am

Training will be on a 42-hour week, Monday to Friday. Shift pattern may include every second weekend once trained.

Responsibilities

  • Machine operating
  • Quality control
  • Packing and preparing orders for dispatch
  • Cleaning and general factory duties
  • Physically demanding work - regularly lifting 15kg hot moulds from machines
  • Working as part of a team to ensure production targets and quality standards are met

Qualifications

  • Is mechanically minded with strong practical skills
  • Can work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • Is physically fit and able to lift 15kg repeatedly
  • Has great attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • Is reliable, punctual and a team player
  • Has previous machine operating experience within a factory or manufacturing environment
