In Technology Operations Delivery (TOD), we deliver technology solutions which include new initiatives, significant system upgrades, and remediation activity to support the wider Tech Ops domain and our business stakeholders.
ANZ is investing heavily in strengthening its security posture across technology, data, and customer platforms. We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Business Analyst to work on enterprise‑level security initiatives, partnering closely with Technology, Security, and Business stakeholders. The Business Analysis capability enables the delivery of effective technical business analysis services for large complex initiatives. This includes collaborating with customers, stakeholders and technology partners to delivery customer outcomes.

As a Senior Technical Business Analyst, you would have the opportunity to :
- Lead end‑to‑end business analysis across security‑focused initiatives (e.g. cyber uplift, regulatory security controls, secure platform delivery)
- Elicit, analyse and document complex requirements using a range of techniques (workshops, interviews, process mapping)
- Translate security, risk and compliance needs into clear, actionable requirements for the delivery teams
- Work closely with Cyber Security, Architecture, Engineering, Risk and Compliance teams
- Support solution design by validating requirements against security standards and enterprise controls
- Manage dependencies, risks and change impacts across multiple stakeholders
- Build and maintain effective relationships with peers, colleagues, managers, and other key stakeholders
- Shape and sustain the analysis approach in a complex environment, managing interdependencies across streams
- Supporting the Project Manager, Senior Technical Leads to ensure delivery meets critical program timelines
- Contribute to managing risks and issues using the ANZ Delivery Framework and ensuring delivery of Cyber Security controls and standards to ensure compliance.

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following :
A proven track record of five years plus at a Senior Business Analysis level Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile and hybrid delivery environmentsSome exposure to security‑related projects (e.g. cyber, identity, access management, secure systems, regulatory change)Experience operating in highly regulated environments (banking, financial services, government or similar)Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in complex environments.Excellent facilitation skills for workshops and stakeholder meetings.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines.Ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders within the business and technologyAbility to articulate and explain technical information to senior stakeholders, peers and managers using the appropriate mediumProficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, and MS Office Suite.Nice to haveExperience with security frameworks (e.g. NIST, ISO , Zero Trust, IAM concepts)Background working with Cyber Security or Risk teamsCertifications such as CBAP, Agile BA, or security‑adjacent certificationsYou’re not expected to have % of these skills.
