Overview

Temporary Chef - RealNZ (AWF Client)

Location : Doubtful Sound (with potential coverage in Queenstown & Milford Sound)

Roster : 7 days on / 7 days off (on-call basis)

Employment Type : Temporary / Contract

Pay : Competitive, based on experience and capability

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present buffet-style meals for up to 60 guests to a high standard.
  • Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are consistently met.
  • Work collaboratively with the hospitality team to deliver a seamless guest experience.
  • Be available on a 7-on / 7-off rotating roster, with flexibility to cover shifts as needed.
  • Travel between Doubtful Sound, Queenstown, and Milford Sound as required.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a chef in high-volume environments.
  • Ability to produce quality buffet-style meals for large groups.
  • Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen operations.
  • Excellent time management and adaptability.
  • Willingness to work in remote locations and travel as needed.
  • Reliable and professional with a strong work ethic.
