Join an exciting indie UK comedy‑horror feature film as a remote audio engineer, focusing on dialogue and FX editing. This urgent role is ideal for a detail‑oriented professional with a passion for film sound, responsible for elevating the audio quality through expert editing, noise reduction, and session management. The project is set to begin immediately and will conclude by mid‑January 2026, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to a creative and fast‑paced production environment.

Responsibilities

  • Clean up and edit dialogue tracks to ensure clarity and consistency throughout the film
  • Prepare and edit sound effects (SFX) and foley to enhance the comedic and horror elements
  • Apply advanced noise reduction and audio repair techniques using Pro Tools, RX, and AI‑based tools as needed
  • Organize and manage Pro Tools sessions for seamless handoff to the final mix stage
  • Collaborate remotely with the film’s creative team, maintaining clear communication and meeting tight deadlines

Skills and Requirements

  • Proven experience in dialogue and FX editing for film or television, preferably in the horror or comedy genres
  • Proficiency with Pro Tools and iZotope RX; familiarity with AI audio cleanup tools is a plus
  • Strong skills in noise reduction, audio repair, and session organization
  • Ability to work independently and deliver high‑quality results under tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills and responsiveness in a remote, global team setting
  • Availability to start immediately and commit through mid‑January 2026
  • Must provide a portfolio or reel demonstrating relevant work
  • Open to applicants worldwide; must be able to work remotely and communicate across time zones
