About the role
An exciting opportunity waits for a Clinical Manager in Mental Health & Wellbeing to lead a committed team within the University Student Health Service.
You'll drive the strategic and operational delivery of mental health services, ensuring high-quality, accessible care that supports our students' educational and personal success.
As a senior leader in the Student Health Service, you will provide expert clinical leadership, manage service resources effectively, and contribute to innovative service development.
You'll also maintain your own clinical practice to ensure ongoing professional competence and credibility.
Salary will be in the range of $114,455 - $125,583 per year based on skills, knowledge and experience brought to the position.
This is a full-time, permanent role (37.5 hours a week), based on our Hillcrest Campus.

You'll Bring
A health-related bachelor's degree or higher, with current registration and annual practising certificate.
Significant post-graduate clinical experience (minimum five years) in primary and / or community settings relevant to mental health and wellbeing.
Demonstrated leadership skills in managing teams, service development or projects.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
Knowledge of legislation and policy relevant to health services.
A commitment to equity, diversity and the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
Desirable attributes include postgraduate study in a health-related field, leadership experience in multidisciplinary teams, knowledge of Taha Maori and Maori health models, and understanding of the mental health needs of tertiary students.
