We’re now looking for a Journalist / Producer to help shape the next wave of live, lively and impactful video journalism across ThreeNews and Stuff.

The Role

As a Journalist / Producer, You’ll Keep New Zealand’s Most Powerful Content Platform Filled With Relatable, High‑impact And Unmissable Video Content. You Will

• Create, film and help produce content for Stuff.co.nz and partner platforms, including ThreeNews.
• Shape the daily news agenda, contributing to a 24 / 7, multi‑platform newsroom covering what Aotearoa is talking about right now.
• Harness new technologies, including AI‑led research tools, data‑driven insights and modern digital editing platforms, to elevate the speed and quality of your storytelling.
• Write, film, edit and publish stories across video, audio, text, social media and emerging platforms.
• Generate original ideas, break news, and deliver stories with strong live and visual elements.
• Develop and maintain a strong network of contacts and find new, creative angles for stories already in the mainstream.
• Occasionally step up to host or present when required.
• Help shape projects that grow audience engagement and highlight Stuff’s best journalism.

You will work closely with senior editors, producers and reporters to ensure all content meets our editorial standards and reflects the needs of our diverse audience.
