Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
In this pivotal role, you’ll support the development and implementation of our Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) Management System. You’ll design and improve processes, develop standards and guidance, and ensure our systems are aligned with leading practices such as ISO 45001 and ISO 45003.
You’ll also play a key part in integrating HSW into core business activities, supporting governance reporting, and contributing to wellbeing initiatives.
You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure our HSW management system is current, relevant, and effective - helping everyone go home safe, every day.
To be successful in this role you will bring a commercial mindset to your work and bring forward pragmatic solutions. You will ideally have a strong drive to enhance work processes, focus on the things that matter, and keen to engage with a wide range of stakeholders.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have Some Or All Of The Following (but Don’t Worry If You Don’t Tick Every Box)
You will demonstrate knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Māori and promote tikanga and Te Reo Māori. You will also have knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an appreciation of Te Tiriti o Waitangi (the Treaty of Waitangi) as it applies in the public sector.
