The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced UI / UX Designer to lead a full review and provide redesign recommendations for the Datanest platform.

This fixed-term contract role will suit someone who loves solving design challenges and has a sharp eye for turning technical workflows into seamless user experiences.

You'll work closely with our product, engineering, and customer success teams to assess the current interface, identify usability improvements, and produce actionable recommendations and high-fidelity mockups for implementation.

If you also have front-end development experience, that's a huge plus, but it's not a requirement.

What matters most is strong UX intuition, design system thinking, and the ability to bring clarity and beauty to complex workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct a comprehensive UI / UX review of the Datanest web and PWA platforms.

Map current user journeys and identify friction points.

Create modern, intuitive design recommendations that align with our brand identity.

Develop interactive prototypes, wireframes, and visual assets to communicate ideas.

Collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure design feasibility.

Present findings and recommendations to the leadership and development teams.

What You'll Bring

Proven experience designing user interfaces for SaaS or complex data-driven platforms.

Strong understanding of UX principles, responsive design, and accessibility.

Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, or similar design tools.

Ability to balance aesthetics with functionality and performance.

Great communication skills and collaborative approach.

(Optional)

Experience in front-end development (HTML / CSS / JS / React) is a bonus.
