About Karaka School

We are looking for someone to join our Karaka School whanau in the Y5–6 team from the start of 2026.

Karaka is a beautiful country school with a roll size of approximately 250 learners.

We are handy to the motorway, situated not far from Papakura on one side and Pukekohe on the other.

We also have an amazing staff who work well as a team and look after each other.

What we're looking for

We are seeking an enthusiastic kaiako who is open to learning and will enjoy working collaboratively.

They will need to embrace our whakatauk1 'ka whangaia, ka tupu, ka puawai' (that which is nurtured, grows and blossoms).
