About the job

We’re looking for an experienced Treatment Plant Operator to service plants in Whangamata, Pauanui and Tairua !

The role involves :

• Operate and maintain water treatment plants to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable performance.
• Carry out routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and compliance monitoring to meet all regulatory and contractual requirements.
• Conduct sampling, testing, and reporting in line with drinking water standards and resource consent conditions.
• Promote a strong Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality culture, ensuring all work is completed safely and to high standards.

What you’ll need

All preferred candidates will be required to complete preemployment checks to the employer’s satisfaction. These checks include but are not limited to, Ministry of Justice criminal conviction report, medical assessment, and drug and alcohol testing.
