About Our Kitchen

Role Overview

The Sous Chef will work alongside the Head Chef and Eatery Manager, running the Westmoreland Street kitchen day‑to‑day. You will lead the team in a fair and professional manner, nurturing established relationships within the team and the community.

About You – Qualifications

  • Management / team leadership experience
  • Minimum 5 years kitchen experience
  • Positive and personable demeanor
  • Passion for working sustainably
  • Good personal presentation and hygiene
  • Ability to handle pressure and solve problems
  • Ability to lead a team with authenticity
  • Ability to maintain a clean section
  • Appreciation of exceptional food
  • Broad knowledge of cooking terminology, techniques and ingredients
