Overview

Assistant Store Manager - Macpac Hamilton CBD. We're looking for an experienced Assistant Store Manager (or a rockstar Supervisor / Team Leader ready for the next step) to join our Macpac Hamilton team. If you're a hands-on leader who builds strong teams, drives sales, and keeps customers engaged, we want your energy.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Store Manager to reach the store's sales potential and ensure smooth operation
  • Create a positive, engaging work environment
  • Lead by example with top-tier customer service
  • Motivate and inspire the team; train, drive floor sales, and achieve results
  • Experience in visual merchandising, stock control, health and safety, and store security
  • Manage rotating roster and weekend coverage in collaboration with the Store Manager

Qualifications

  • Management or supervisor experience
  • Ability to lead by example and deliver excellent customer service
  • Ability to motivate and inspire the team
  • Skills in training, driving sales, and achieving results
  • Experience in visual merchandising, stock control, health and safety, and store security
  • Having experience with outdoor clothing and equipment is not essential; a passion for outdoors or travel is preferable
