Ownthe platform and operationalenvironments of our cloud based veterniary software portfolio, we're talking ezyVet, VetRadar, Smartflow to name a few.You're part of a nimble Platform team so you'll need to be comfortablesupporting, monitoringand building out theplatforminfrastructure, automationand tools that run our environments.In short we're looking for a SRE / Platform Engineer focused on scaling and performance,a keen coder at heartwho strives toautomate everything possible.Sounds like you doesn't it??

Here's a few projectswe've started and / or you'll be across : Containerization and clustering(Docker, AWS EKS)Establish security best practices across the companyComplex security projects from design through implementation and maintenanceSearch and Reporting (ElasticSearch)Implementation / Optimization of a Caching infrastructure (Redis, Varnish)Implementation of Data Warehousing solution (AWS DMS, S3, Redshift)Performance Optimisation (via slow transactions in DataDog)Automation pipelines for EVERYTHING (Gitlab CI)What we think you'll need to nail it : A seasoned SMEworking with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation etc)Strong knowledge of security topics - network and application security, infrastructure hardening, security baselines, and web server / database securityPrevious Web / Application Development experience- you'll be right in the code at times to guide our applications engineersProven person of action & delivery focusedResults orientatedStrong experience with AWS- EC2 | RDS | Lambda | DynamoDB |ElastiCache(Redis) | ELBExperience building CI / CD pipelinesExperience withcontainer orchestration technologyStrong attention to detail with relentlessfollowupWhat you can expect from us : Structured onboarding, induction, ongoing training and transparent performance driven professional developmentRewarding salary package ($135k-170k base range) plus lucrative incentive schemes for allContinuous L&D (both internal and externally)Great tech kit for both work and personal useHybrid working with a great office space to collaborate - including a gym and roof top bar!
