Business Manager - Business Banking

Whangarei or Auckland

Full time, Permanent

Mo te turanga | About the Role

Are you passionate about helping business customers thrive? Reporting to the Area Manager, we're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys connecting with people and consistently delivers outstanding service.

In this role, you'll support business customers with a range of needs—from home and business lending to equipment finance and credit cards. You'll also play a key role in customer retention by proactively reaching out based on needs-based leads. Working closely with internal teams across Westpac, you'll ensure our business customers receive the right support at the right time.

We're looking for someone who :

Is passionate about delivering exceptional service to business customers

Has a solid understanding of Credit Risk and experience in Credit Analysis

Brings proven experience in Business or Commercial Lending

Is eager to grow their knowledge of business lending and build a career in Business Banking

Communicates clearly and professionally—most interactions are via phone or email

Takes initiative, follows through on commitments, and is always keen to learn

A tertiary qualification in Finance or Accounting is preferred.
