Based out of our offices in Hamilton, Auckland and in our clients' offices throughout New Zealand, our engineers are responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining large scale automation systems and MES.

Over recent years CTEK has managed to achieve significant market presence and we are now looking to expand our team of talented engineers.

About the role

We are currently seeking Automation Systems Engineers to join our Auckland team of technical experts to actively deliver control system solutions and further develop relationships and the growth of our client base.

This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week, Mondays to Fridays.

Skills and experience

Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering and / or Relevant Process or Automation experience.

PLC-programming experience with Allen Bradley, Siemens, Schneider or Beckhoff.

HMI-programming experience with FTView, InTouch, System Platform, Ignition, Citect, IFix.

Knowledge with technologies such as robotics and vision is desirable.

RTU Experience - Kingfisher, Schneider SCADAPack, Brodersen etc is a plus.

Ability to establish and maintain excellent relationships with clients.

Commitment to deliver high quality products, projects and service.

Good communication skills and problem-solving ability.

Self-motivated with the ability to work as part of a team.

Flexible to travel and provide systems support to customers.

Additionally, you will be methodical and have a strong eye for detail.
