H&S Manager

We're seeking a proven Health & Safety professional who is looking to take the next steps in their career.

As H&S Manager, you'll take ownership of all health, safety, and well-being initiatives across the business, ensuring compliance, embedding robust systems, and engaging people at every level.

You'll be the go-to for advice, coaching, and continuous improvement, and play a key role in developing practical, fit-for-purpose safety strategies that align with business goals.

This role would be ideal for a confident Senior Advisor who wants to advance, or an established H&S manager who can hit the ground running in this leadership role.

What you'll be doing :

Lead and refine H&S systems, policies, and procedures across multiple sites.

Support and mentor operational leaders to lift safety capability.

Conduct investigations, risk assessments, and audits, ensuring compliance with current NZ legislation.

Drive proactive initiatives focused on well-being and behavioural safety.

Partner with senior leadership to shape long-term safety strategies.

What we're looking for :

Strong background in Health & Safety management within mining, manufacturing, or industrial environments.

Excellent working knowledge of the Health & Safety related NZ regulations.

Confident communicator who can influence, educate, and inspire safe behaviour.

Relevant H&S qualifications.
