Senior Associate - Litigation

About the role

Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Associate to join their Litigation team based in Auckland CBD. This permanent full-time role is primarily office based with some flexibility to WFH.

Ideally you will have a solid background in general commercial disputes and perhaps some regulatory matters - but if you have more generalist litigation experience and a bit more or less experience and you are interested – please reach out!

Our client has a diverse and well-established litigation practice and offers great opportunities to work for both local and global clients across a range of matters including contract disputes, fair dealing, ESG, Greenwashing and climate related disclosures.

In this role you will undertake a variety of challenging work in a supportive environment that offers career and professional development. What we’re looking for

• A motivated team-oriented litigation lawyer with at least 5 years’ top quality post-admission experience who holds or is entitled to hold a current NZ legal practising certificate
• Commercial approach and strong work ethic
• A practical and personable team player, with a high level of client service
• Ability to work at pace and contribute positively to team culture
