An exciting career opportunity has arisen to join our busy Despatch Team in the important role of

Stock Controller

This is a fulltime position 40 hours / week, working Monday to Friday 8hrs / day, with start & finish times negotiable.

The site is located just 10mins south of Rotorua CBD, at Waipa Sawmill.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular mini stocktakes on site and maintain Red Stag's computerised stock system.

Develop competence in process flow and our range of timber products & grades.

Provide training to production team members in data entry / recording once competent; manage the annual stocktake.

Qualifications

Sound literacy and numeracy; along with confident interpersonal skills

Intermediate or advanced MS Office suite computer skills, particularly in Excel

Experience in stock control functions, with proven accuracy and attention to detail

Ideally some knowledge of timber grades, sizes and treatments

The ability to multitask and work to deadlines, with a "can-do" attitude

A solid reputation as a reliable & safety-conscious team player

Requirements

NOTE : A minimum of 3 line manager referees from previous employers is required.

You must be a NZ Resident living in New Zealand

and pre-employment medical and drug screening applies.
