Diagnostic images have been submitted. Clinical history is essential. A treating veterinarian needs timely, accurate information to make important decisions. Somewhere, a concerned pet owner is waiting for news about a beloved animal. At Vet's Choice Radiology (VCR) , your work helps connect those moments. We're seeking experienced veterinary nurses and veterinary technicians who excel at clinical coordination, attention to detail, and supporting exceptional patient care. Choose a Schedule That Fits Your Lifestyle Veterinary care never stops, and neither do we. VCR provides specialist teleradiology services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. As part of our New Zealand team, your schedule will align with U.S.-based overnight operations while allowing you to work daytime and afternoon hours locally. Available Schedule Options (New Zealand Time) Option 1 Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday 2:00 p.m. - 12:00 midnight NZST (3:00 p.m. - 1:00 a.m. during NZDT) Option 2 Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 2:00 p.m. - 12:00 midnight NZST (3:00 p.m. - 1:00 a.m. during NZDT) Option 3 Tuesday, Friday and Saturday 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. NZST Sunday 4:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. NZST These schedules support U.S. Central Time operations. Working hours may shift by approximately one hour during daylight saving transitions. Employees receive an additional shift differential for designated weekend hours. What You'll Be Doing You won't be interpreting diagnostic studies or making medical diagnoses. Instead, you'll play a critical role in ensuring cases move efficiently and accurately through the diagnostic process. Review and Optimise Review imaging submissions for completeness, image quality, clinical history, and patient information before radiologist review. Keep Cases Moving Monitor workflow queues and identify issues that could affect turnaround times. Solve Clinical Gaps Work directly with veterinary practices to obtain missing information, clarify requests, and document next steps. Support Veterinary Teams Provide timely and professional communication that helps veterinary professionals feel informed and supported. Work with Modern Technology Utilise Salesforce, Microsoft 365, Teams, and specialised veterinary radiology platforms to support daily operations. Comprehensive Training and Support Your success begins with structured onboarding. You'll receive approximately four weeks of fully paid training alongside experienced Team Leads who will guide you through our systems, workflows, quality standards, and communication processes. The goal is simple: to ensure you feel confident, supported, and set up for long-term success. Requirements What You'll Bring We're looking for someone who naturally notices details, communicates effectively, and takes pride in providing outstanding support to both colleagues and veterinary professionals. Minimum Qualifications Qualifications Veterinary Nursing qualification, Veterinary Technology qualification, or equivalent veterinary clinical training Experience Minimum three years of veterinary clinical experience Technical Knowledge Strong understanding of veterinary anatomy, medical terminology, and diagnostic imaging Experience obtaining, reviewing, or working with radiographs Remote Work Requirements Current legal right to work in New Zealand Dedicated professional home office environment Reliable high-speed internet connectivity Highly Regarded Experience in: Emergency veterinary medicine Specialty veterinary practice Diagnostic imaging Teleradiology operations Fast-paced referral environments If your experience doesn't align perfectly with every preferred qualification, we still encourage you to apply.
