With fresh energy, a renewed strategy, and a commitment to doing things differently, we’re looking for a Branch Manager for our Timaru team to help us keep delivering. **About the role - Mō te tūranga** This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll drive operational excellence, lead a high-performing team, ensure outstanding customer service and provide commercial business development support. Reporting to the Area Manager, Central and Upper South Island your Key Responsibilities include: * Take full ownership of branch financial performance, including P&L, EBIT and cost control* Lead a customer-focused team, working closely with customers and sales to deliver outstanding service.* Strategically plan people, resources, and transport to achieve business goals.* Inspire and develop your team, fostering a culture of growth and high performance.* Drive growth, efficiency, and align the team with the evolving needs of the business.* Manage key metrics: utilisation, claims, DIFOT, safety, and customer service.* Champion a safety-first culture, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.* Collaborate with national and regional teams for shared success. **What will you bring? – Ōu** **Pūkenga?** You’re a proven people leader who thrives in fast-paced environments. You’re confident in making decisions and aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves when required.
