Registered Nurse - Emergency Department Fixed Term Registered Nurse – Emergency Department Salary Band – $81,000 - $106,000 p.a prorata + Kiwisaver 0.6 FTE / 48 Hours per fortnight Fixed term position till May 2027 Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders. About the role The Emergency Department includes A triage area, a rapid assessment area, dedicated resuscitation areas, acute, sub-acute and paediatric cubicles along with ambulatory care spaces. Acute cares for adults and paediatrics including full patient resuscitation facilities, management of trauma, fractures, injuries and so much more. Develop your skills in this area of nursing including: a comprehensive orientation programme; On-going development in emergency nursing skills e.g. Trauma Nursing Core Course, Triage Course, and Advanced Life Support.
