Our vibrant, caring school of 96 wonderful Year 0-8 tamariki is looking for a collaborative, visible, and future-focused deputy principal to join our dedicated team. This permanent position carries 2 Management Units and a 0.8 classroom teaching component (4 days in class, 1 day leadership release). It’s a wonderful opportunity for a passionate leader who believes in working alongside colleagues to grow great teaching practices while guiding school strategic direction. Proven leadership experience and strengths in literacy, digital fluency/ICT and PB4L could be an advantage, along with a commitment to developing the practice of others. However, full leadership responsibilities are open for negotiation with the successful candidate. Above all, we're looking for a genuine "people person", someone who connects easily with students and colleagues, and enjoys building warm, trusted relationships across our school and community. Full NZ teacher registration required. Class level in our middle area of the school around Years 2-4. However, there could be opportunity for negotiation here.
