The Team and The Practice
It’s a family General Practice and A+E with 10 consulting rooms, 5 nurse treatment rooms, a theatre and fully equipped resuscitation room. The team is highly experienced and as a teaching practice there are daily opportunities for learning, whether you are an experienced GP or nearer the start of your career.
Location
Te Awamutu is a charming town in the Waikato region of New Zealand’s North Island. Servicing a long established farming community, it’s a 20 minute drive to Hamilton airport for domestic connections. It’s 3 hours away from a day’s tramping at National Park; 2 hours from the surf breaks at Raglan or Mount Maunganui, or 12 minutes from the challenging but satisfying climb of Mount Pirongia.
About You
- You’ll have current full registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand
- You’ll be keen to be part of a patient focused team and a friendly semi rural community
