Middle Years Teacher (Years 7–10) - Full-time, Permanent Full time, Permanent Secondary (Years 7–15) / wharekura, Certificated teacher English, Health and physical education, Learning languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, The arts Are you an energetic, experienced middle years educator passionate about delivering high-quality foundational learning? We are looking for an inspiring and versatile teacher to teach across our core middle school curriculum (Years 7 to 10). This role involves delivering integrated or subject-focused learning across our core learning areas: Mathematics Science Global Perspectives. As a growing, future-focused school we offer a supportive, student-centred environment. You will be comfortable working with core curriculum strands and helping our students transition seamlessly into secondary pathways. Experience with or an interest in the Cambridge International Curriculum is an advantage, however we welcome applications from dynamic educators with strong New Zealand Curriculum experience looking to expand their teaching repertoire. Key selection criteria: Strong primary or middle-years pedagogical expertise across core subjects. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and foster high engagement. Experience in teaching the Cambridge Curriculum. Excellent relational and communication skills with students, staff, and families. Current New Zealand Teacher Registration Willingness to contribute to the wider co-curricular life of the College (for example Creative Arts or Sport).
