We have permanent positions available at 0.6FTE - 0.9FTE and are also seeking expressions of interest for an upcoming 0.8FTE fixed-term parental leave cover for 12 months. Aboutthe Service TheBone Marrow Transplant Unit is where patients receive specialised treatment formalignant and non-malignant haematological disorders treating patients fromthroughout the South Island. Weare the treatment center for patients having autologous and allogeneictransplants in the South Island. AboutYou Thisis an ideal opportunity to develop specialised skills and gain valuableexperience in CVAD management and cannulation, the administration of bloodproducts and chemotherapy. Weare looking for someone who possess a passion for our service, good assessment skills and exceptional communication skills. Previoushaematology experience is desirable however orientation will be provided to thesuccessful candidate. 3+ years nursing experience Ability to work all shifts - Morning, Afternoon and Nights Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills and ability to build effective relationships with a strong patient focus. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
