Branch Manager

$140,000 – $160,000 per year + incentive + vehicle

This is a flagship Auckland branch of a long standing leader in the manufacture and supply of building materials. With annual turnover of around $40 million and a team of around 40, it is a serious leadership role with real scope to lift performance and grow.

We are looking for a Branch Manager who is close to customers, knows how to grow sales and can make a busy operation run well. You will build a strong team around you, bring focus and accountability, and help good people do their best work.

The processes are there. Your job is to make sure they work in practice. That means getting to the cause of recurring problems, making sound decisions at pace and following through. You will know when to step in, when to get others involved and how to keep the branch moving without filling everyone’s day with meetings.

You will bring experience in the manufacture and supply of building materials to the construction sector, along with the commercial drive and operational understanding to lead a business of this scale. You will be competitive, practical and comfortable being accountable for results.

Salary $140,000 to $160,000, plus incentive, vehicle and tools of trade.
