About the Role The Senior Change Analyst operates at a delivery level (SFIA Level 4), providing expert analysis and change leadership to enable high-quality outcomes that enhance digital capability across the organisation. Working closely with the Capability Manager Change & Adoption, project teams, Clinical Informatics Directors, and senior stakeholders, the role assesses the impact of IT systems on business processes and clinical workflows, ensuring solutions are configured to meet operational needs and deliver measurable benefits. With strong technical understanding, analytical capability, and stakeholder management expertise, the Senior Change Analyst leads and supports organisational change initiatives, elicits and documents business requirements, manages risks and compliance obligations, and tracks benefit realisation. About the Team/Service/ Location We're seeking an experienced Senior Change Analyst to join our Digital Services team, with applications welcomed from Auckland, Bay of Plenty, Wellington, Christchurch, and Dunedin. Working closely with clinical, operational, and regional leaders, you will help deliver innovative digital solutions that support safe, efficient, and patient-centred care. About you To succeed in this role, you are an experienced and confident change professional with a strong track record of leading complex organisational change within digital transformation environments. You bring both strategic insight and practical delivery capability, with the ability to design and implement robust change strategies that embed sustainable outcomes. Ideally experienced within the health sector, you understand the clinical, operational, and regulatory contexts in which digital systems operate, and you apply this knowledge to ensure solutions are fit-for-purpose and ethically sound.. To succeed in this role, you will bring: 5–7+ years' experience in change management, including at least 2 years in a senior or lead role delivering complex, organisation-wide initiatives. Proven experience developing and implementing change strategies within large organisations, ideally in digital transformation and health sector environments. Relevant tertiary qualification (Bachelor's degree or higher) in health, computer science, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience. Strong knowledge of change and project methodologies, including ADKAR, Kotter, Agile, and Waterfall, with proficiency in change management tools and reporting frameworks. Sound understanding of healthcare, medical, legal, and ethical responsibilities, with the ability to apply Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles and equity-focused practice in real-world delivery contexts.
