We’relooking for a Senior Supply Planner to join our Supply Chainteam on a 12-month fixed term contract , taking ownership of aportfolio of local and imported products. This is a hands‑on, high‑impact rolewhere you’ll plan, purchase, import and distribute product efficiently andcost‑effectively, while also acting as a technical expert and mentor within theteam. Aboutthe role Reportingto the Supply Planning Manager, you’ll play a key role in maintaining strongstock availability, supporting inventory performance and ensuring product getsto where it needs to be, when it needs to be there. You’ll work closely withSupply Planners, Category Managers, Demand Planners, suppliers and freightpartners to manage the end-to-end planning and purchasing process. You’llalso be a trusted technical expert across key systems and processes, includingIBP, SAP, LIMA, Indents and local allocation suppliers. Alongside your ownportfolio, you’ll support other Supply Planners with priorities, queries andbest‑practice ways of working. Whatyou’ll be doing Managing a portfolio oflocal and imported products to support in‑stock and inventory KPIs. Planning and purchasingcontinuity, new range, indent and non‑continuity product. Using planning data,weeks of cover alerts and system insights to make timely replenishmentdecisions. Coordinating purchaseorders, supplier confirmations, shipping documentation, customs clearance,receipting and order processing. Working throughshipping options, landed costs, freight reconciliation and margin impactsto support commercial outcomes. Partnering withCategory Managers and Demand Planners on new products, run‑outs, forecastissues and range transitions. Supporting continuousimprovement across supply planning, importing, costing and indentprocesses. Sharing knowledge,mentoring others and providing technical guidance across the SupplyPlanning team. At least three years’experience in a similar supply chain, planning, importing or purchasingrole. Strong attention todetail and confidence working with numbers, costings and product data. Intermediate toadvanced Excel skills and strong general systems capability. Experience withoverseas purchasing, shipping and import requirements. An understanding ofretail distribution networks and the importance of balancing availability,cost and inventory outcomes. A collaborative style,with the confidence to guide others, challenge constructively and buildstrong working relationships. Aboutyou At leastthree years’ experience in a similar supply chain, planning, importing orpurchasing role. Strongattention to detail and confidence working with numbers, costings and productdata. Intermediateto advanced Excel skills and strong general systems capability. Experiencewith overseas purchasing, shipping and import requirements. Anunderstanding of retail distribution networks and the importance of balancingavailability, cost and inventory outcomes. Acollaborative style, with the confidence to guide others, challengeconstructively and build strong working relationships.
