Working alongside business groups, we lift capability, strengthen systems and support continuous improvement across the organisation. Kōrero mō te tūranga | About the Role As a Project Management Office Coordinator you will lead the successful delivery of initiatives and activities associated with the portfolio of projects that I&T is undertaking, as well as leading the coordination of large and non-standard service requests on behalf of I&T. In this role, you will Coordinate the delivery of initiatives and complex service requests from planning through to completion. Support portfolio and programme reporting, planning, budgeting, and project closure activities. Partner with stakeholders to define requirements, communicate progress, and facilitate successful delivery outcomes. Coordinate resources, documentation, and delivery activities across multiple teams. Contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team. This is a fixed term, full-time position (40 hours per week) based in Wellington, New Zealand through to June 2027. Ō pūmanawa | About You To succeed in this role, you will have Strong planning, organisation and stakeholder management skills. Experience supporting the delivery of technology, project, or service outcomes. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and digital literacy. Familiarity with project management, PMO, or service delivery practices is desirable. Show an awareness of, and a commitment to, the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi Tertiary qualification in IT, or related discipline or equivalent experience.
