**Registered Nurse – Rheumatology****Salary Base $81,683 - $106,739 + KiwiSaver*** **Invercargill Hospital*** **Part-time 0.5 FTE vacancy (20 hours per week)*** **Permanent vacancy**Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders.**About the role**The Southern Department of Rheumatology is a close-knit, supportive team of seven Specialists, a Nurse Practitioner, Clinical Nurse Specialist and Registered Nurse, backed by an experienced and dedicated administrative team. Together, we provide expert, compassionate care to our patients across the Southern region.This is an exciting newly created opportunity to join our Invercargill-based team, where you'll work closely with experienced clinicians and have the opportunity to learn, develop and broaden your skills alongside our Nurse Practitioner. You'll be part of a collaborative team that values collegiality, professional growth and delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.This is an exciting opportunity to join our specialist outpatient rheumatology service and be part of a supportive, collaborative team. You will support patients to better understand and manage their condition and treatment, while helping to ensure continuity of care across their rheumatology journey. You will play a key role in providing expert advice, support and education to patients throughout their treatment journey, ensuring high-quality clinical care and an excellent patient experience.
