Thrive in a high volume operational maintenance delivery environment Utilise your relationship management/engagement and contract management skills Fixed Term until 30 June 2027, Christchurch based Ko tā mātou mahi - Our RoleReporting to the Manager Maintenance Commercial Contracts (MMCC), you will add value in this responsive and dynamic role. You will work closely with our Maintenance Partners through our maintenance contract, Te Mahi Ngātahi (Maintenance 2020) alongside other internal and external stakeholders.The Advisor - Contract Management role is diverse and reactive in its tasks and responsibilities and will require the right candidate to have experience in being adaptable and flexible by responding effectively and efficiently to the changes and demands. Providing advice and resolving issues is a key part of this role. You will also have some experience in critical analysis to provide recommendations to support operational delivery. Mahi Tahi is key in our team, we seek applicants who can function autonomously while simultaneously working closely with the people leader and our stakeholders. What you will bring Sound knowledge and experience of contract management processes Experience in an operational/delivery role ideally in commercial/financial management of contracts and/or financial or management accountancy background Knowledge of operational work order management and delivery will be useful Demonstrated experience in an advisory level, constructing recommendations and analysing data Proven sound commercial acumen with experience in understanding operational and financial reports Experience working in a service delivery environment with customer focused approaches Demonstrated ability to negotiate and influence stakeholders Strong communication skills with the proven ability to build and maintain working relationships Excellent written and oral communication skills, particularly the ability to communicate clearly, concisely and in plain language Sound judgement, discretion and proven ability to plan, prioritise and work under pressure Desirable to have Commercial and Contract Management (CCM) certification at Practitioner level or International Association for Contract and Commercial Management (IACCM) What's in it for you?
