About The Role Stantec’s Buildings team in New Zealand delivers end-to-end projects for our clients, from feasibility and design through to construction, commissioning, and operation. Specialising in mission‑critical facilities such as data centres and healthcare, our team of 100 brings expertise in mechanical, hydraulic, fire, electrical, structural, and sustainability engineering to local projects. As a Senior Revit Designer, you will lead accurate, coordinated digital documentation for building services projects through technical excellence, BIM coordination, and collaboration with Engineers and the Project Leaders. Your day‑to‑day role will preparation and coordination of digital drawings and models across our disciplines, alongside providing technical leadership, mentoring junior staff, and support continuous improvement in delivery processes. Reporting to our Delivery Manager, Digital Services, your team leader responsibilities will focus on enabling high‑quality project delivery, supporting team performance, and ensuring our digital delivery capability is aligned to current and future project needs. Lead the day‑to‑day coordination of Revit and digital delivery activities across building services projects, ensuring work is planned, prioritised, and delivered to agreed quality standards and timeframes. Manage team workloads by reviewing project demands, balancing priorities, and allocating work in a way that supports efficient delivery and team wellbeing. Work closely with the Delivery Manager, discipline leads, and project leaders to understand upcoming project pipelines, resourcing requirements, and delivery risks. Assess team capability, skills, and capacity to ensure the right people are aligned to the right projects, while identifying opportunities for training, mentoring, and development. Support consistent digital delivery practices, including model coordination, documentation standards, quality checks, and continuous improvement across project teams. Act as a trusted technical point of contact for the team, providing guidance, resolving delivery issues, and helping maintain strong collaboration across disciplines. What You’ll Bring NZ Certificate or Diploma in CAD, Drafting, or a related field. Advanced expertise in CAD, Revit, and digital delivery methods for building services projects. Proven ability to implement and uphold quality systems, drive project coordination, and minimise rework. Strong leadership skills, including mentoring and technical coaching. Strong communication and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams 7 years of industry experience in digital delivery, including leadership or mentoring responsibilities.
