Auckland City MONTESSORI ST JOHNS LIMITED Job Description About the role We are seeking passionate and dedicated Montessori ECE Assistants to join our early childhood education team. This is asupport role working alongside our teaching team to provide a safe, positive and nurturing environment for children. NewZealand teacher registration is not required for this position. Starting pay offered from $ 26 to $ 30 hourly will be fixed accordingto experience for at least 30 hours a week; however, this will be reviewed periodically. Any overtime will be paid at the abovepay rate. Key duties and responsibilities : Supervising and caring for children aged 0 to 6 during daily activities in a Montessori classroom, while supporting theimplementation of Montessori principles; Assisting with Montessori-based learning activities and classroom routines; Supporting children’s social, emotional and physical development; Helping prepare learning materials and maintaining a clean, safe and organised learning environment; Assisting children with meals, hygiene and other daily routines; Observing children, documenting relevant information, and communicating observations to teaching staff; Fostering positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues; Upholding the centre’s health, safety and child protection policies. Requirements : At least two years of relevant work experience in a Montessori education setting; or A recognised Montessori teaching qualification, such as AMI, AMS, or equivalent. A caring, patient, and dedicated approach to children’s growth; Strong communication and teamwork skills; Willingness to collaborate and grow within the Montessori philosophy; Ability to pass police vetting and pre-employment checks. #J-18808-Ljbffr
