About the Role As a Clinical Administration Relief worker, you will provide efficient and reliable administrative cover across a variety of clinical and non-clinical services at Whangārei Hospital. Working within the Clinical Relief Temp Pool, youll step into different administration roles to support departments during staff leave and periods of increased demand, ensuring the smooth delivery of patient care and service operations. The role encompasses a range of administrative functions, including reception, patient bookings, data entry, ward clerk duties, and general office support.This is an exciting opportunity for an adaptable and organised administrator who enjoys variety and thrives in a dynamic healthcare environment. Youll work alongside a wide range of clinicians, administrators, patients and whānau, building valuable experience across multiple specialties while making a meaningful contribution to the health and wellbeing of our community. About the Team/Service/Location The Clinical Relief Temp Pool provides essential administrative support across Hospital & Specialist Services for Te Tai Tokerau. Our team plays a critical role in ensuring departments remain well supported and patients continue to receive timely, high-quality care when regular administration staff are unavailable. Whangārei Hospital is the largest hospital in Northland and offers the opportunity to work within a diverse and collaborative healthcare environment. About you As a Clinical Administrative Relief worker, you will be confident working in a fast-paced environment and enjoy learning new systems and processes quickly. Youll be flexible, reliable, and committed to providing exceptional customer services.
