This position plays a vital role in implementing Toi Ora systems of care, helping to achieve Te Toi Ahorangi and Pae Ora. A desire to integrate Te Ao Māori into clinical practice is essential.****What the successful candidate will bring:***** Current New Zealand Nursing Registration and Annual Practicing Certificate* Experience in Kaupapa Māori nursing model of practice* Commitment to Māori health equity and culturally responsive care* Previous community nursing experience is an advantage* Readiness to work rostered shifts, including weekend and public holidays* Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth* Experience in projects/initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings**Working for Health New Zealand**Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
