About the Role Our client is looking for a skilled and dedicated Online Tutor specializing in Mathematics for Grades 10-12 to join their remote team. This role involves providing individualized and small-group online tutoring sessions to students across various locations. You will help students grasp complex mathematical concepts, improve their problem-solving skills, and prepare effectively for their examinations. This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to make a significant difference in students' academic success from the comfort of your home, serving learners throughout South Africa. Key Responsibilities Conduct engaging and effective online tutoring sessions for high school Mathematics students (Grades 10-12). Develop personalized learning plans and adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs. Explain complex mathematical concepts, theories, and formulas clearly and concisely. Provide constructive feedback on student work and track their progress towards learning objectives. Utilize online collaboration tools and platforms to facilitate interactive learning experiences. Requirements A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field. Proven experience in teaching or tutoring Mathematics at the high school level. Strong understanding of the South African high school Mathematics curriculum. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills suitable for an online environment.
