Our Paper Bag business based in Penrose, Aucklanddesigns and produces multi-wall bags for the Dairy, Cement, Flour and Sugarindustries throughout the country and into offshore markets. EHSR is a vital focus for ourbusiness, and we recognise the need to secure top talent to help us ensure ourprotocols and strategies are constantly at the forefront and being put intobest practice at every area of the business. THEROLE: Reporting to the General ManagerPaper Bag, this integral role is responsible for the administration of all EHSRactivities at our manufacturing site in Penrose, Auckland. You will be primarily responsible for: Implementing, maintaining and coordinatingEHSR activities Providing injury management support Managing the EHSR Improvement Plan Training and developing the EHSR capabilityon site and to various off-site locations What you need: 3 + years hands on EHSR/Compliance experience;within a medium to large manufacturing business. Sound EHSR knowledge of legislativerequirements. Knowledge of Food Safety advantageous. Experience with EnvironmentalImprovement Plans; Risk Continuation, Occupational Health and Safety, ProcessSafety, Emergency Preparedness and Site Security EH&S Certificate Level 3 minimumrequirement or relevant tertiary qualification ideal. Passion for safety, innateleadership ability, and drive for change.
