About the Role As an Underwriter-Technical, you'll provide crucial technical underwriting advice and guidance, support quality business acceptance and work on business-wide initiatives to enhance efficiencies and client offerings. You'll also have the opportunity work alongside other experienced underwriters to craft bespoke insurance solutions, including co-insurance; gain exposure to quota share arrangements and the direct management of own capacity and retention, and how we place facultative reinsurance directly from within the underwriting team-giving you a rare, end-to-end view of the insurance lifecycle. About You Minimum 5 years of demonstrated commercial insurance or underwriting experience ANZIIF (or equivalent) qualification (or working towards it) Strong commercial and insurance acumen, including pricing and market dynamics) Proven ability to influence, build, and manage strong internal relationships Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a pragmatic approach Experience across a range of non-consumer lines (e.g. SME, corporate, specialty) will be highly regarded and is key to success in this role.
