About the Role Working as part of a small, supportive team, you'll help ensure events are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard. Your day-to-day work may include: Loading and unloading event equipment. Transporting and preparing equipment for events. Installing and dismantling marquees, furniture and other event equipment. Helping with event set-ups and pack-downs. Working alongside the team on-site to get the job done. Maintaining equipment and keeping the worksite clean and organised. Providing friendly, professional service to clients. Taking on more responsibility as your skills and confidence develop. This is a physical, practical role suited to someone who enjoys being active, working outdoors and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves. It would suit someone from an events, construction, landscaping, logistics, hire or similar hands-on background — or someone simply looking for a change and a role where they can learn and develop. What We're Looking For Reliable, hardworking and takes pride in their work. Physically fit and comfortable with manual work. Practical and confident using tools and equipment. A positive team player with a willingness to learn. Organised and able to work efficiently. A good communicator with a friendly attitude. Comfortable working outdoors and in a fast-paced environment Flexible and willing to work longer days during the busy event season. Keen to develop their skills and potentially take on more responsibility over time. Holds a Class 2 licence — preferred, but training can be provided for the right person. Previous experience in events, marquee hire, construction, landscaping, logistics, equipment hire or a similar industry will be highly regarded, but attitude, reliability and a willingness to learn are just as important. What's on Offer Permanent, full-time opportunity. Competitive pay, depending on experience. Standard hours of approximately 8am-5pm, with longer days during the busy event season when required.
