New Zealand Permanent Mission in Geneva – Executive Assistant, Geneva The New Zealand Permanent Mission to the United Nations and World Trade Organisation in Geneva is offering a unique opportunity to gain exposure to the world of diplomacy and global affairs through the position of Executive Assistant. Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role The Executive Assistant, collaborating with the other Executive Assistant, is responsible for providing support to the policy work of the Mission through administrative support to the Head of Mission (UN and Disarmament Ambassador) and WTO Ambassador, and helps to lead and deliver the Mission's visits and events. Responsibilities Providing administrative support to the Head of Mission (UN and Disarmament Ambassador) and WTO Ambassador. Supporting the policy work of the Mission. Leading and delivering the Mission's visits and events. Salary The full salary range for this role is CHF 82,618 to CHF 97,507. We expect to appoint depending on your level of experience. Mā wai te mahi nei?- Who are we looking for? Previous successful experience in an Executive Assistant capacity to a senior manager and/or leadership team. Well-developed planning and organisational skills, including ability to prioritise tasks effectively and work under pressure. Excellent command of English, oral and written; professional competency in French is an advantage. Ability to work autonomously and within guidelines, demonstrating sound judgement and following up without prompting. Strong customer focus, ability to communicate effectively with a range of people, proven ability to operate in a fast‑paced and busy environment, adapt to ambiguity and changing situations, balance priorities and work to tight deadlines. Must be a New Zealand citizen and able to obtain and maintain an appropriate New Zealand Government Security clearance. Use this online tool to self‑check your eligibility for a Security clearance.
