Backed by research and science, our unique product has helped thousands of happy hikers in New Zealand and Australia move with more ease and agility, and use less energy on the trail. We are excited to grow our current Australasian market and grow our rapidly expanding international market. Demand has been high, and so we now need help with this exciting phase at Aarn Packs. We are seeking a hands-on Marketing Specialist to work alongside our current team. This is an opportunity to drive profitable growth, strengthen customer relationships, and help shape the future of one of the most unique brands in the outdoor industry. About the Role This is not a behind-the-desk strategy position. We are looking for a person who enjoys being actively involved in the day-to-day operation of the business while contributing to company success. Success in this role requires a strong understanding of digital marketing, ecommerce, D2C and B2B customer relationships, interpersonal skills, product education, and operational realities. You will work in a small team, with the potential to build a larger team as we grow. What You Will Do Maintain and create content across our Shopify website, using optimisation principles. Build engaging email campaigns and comfortably grow and segment audiences in Klaviyo. Create, manage, and report on digital advertising campaigns across Google, Meta and other platforms. Create medium-level graphic design work, supported by our team for merchandising, print and digital content. Plan, create and manage content across our social media and other digital channels, not limited to Meta, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Reddit, & Wikipedia. Interact with the outdoor community about our packs, both online and in person. Work with our team to run our ambassador program, affiliate program and content creators. Explore new tools, technologies, ideas and marketing techniques - and find ways to put them to work across the company. Build & maintain strong relationships with our dealers, distributors, digital marketing partners and key accounts. Represent Aarn Packs at international trade shows, customer meetings, education events and industry events. Work with our team to run our retail education programme. Work with a marketing budget and understand margins while growing the brand and seeking the best ROI. Oversee and facilitate product and lifestyle photo shoots. Manage all our online assets for partners to use. Write original, compelling copy for worldwide press releases, blog posts, and social media posts without relying on generative AI. Work with our team to film and edit in-house videos for customer education and social media. Being a small team, you will also be in front of the camera as well as behind it. Lead generation for new retail accounts to assist our salesperson. What We Are Looking For Required Qualifications Equivalent experience in a related field or a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications. 3+ years of experience in sales, marketing, customer service, account management, or business operations. Experience managing customer, dealer, distributor, or key account relationships. Strong communication and organisational skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to balance customer needs, operational constraints, and profitability objectives. Preferred Experience Experience with retail, dealer, distributor, and online sales channels. Experience with product launches and brand marketing. Experience working with key partners outside the organisation. Experience in hiking, outdoor recreation, sporting goods, or premium consumer products industries. Familiarity with Shopify, Reamaze, Klaviyo, Canva, Later, Microsoft Suite, Google Analytics, Meta, and YouTube. Is this you?
