Te mahi angitu - The opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic occupational therapist (OT) to join our highly skilled interdisciplinary team. We provide a range of assessment and rehabilitation services across Canterbury, specialising in complex injuries. Our client group varies from traumatic brain injury, spinal injury, amputation and multi-trauma to general orthopaedic injuries, covering all ages. We currently have opportunities within our assessment team working on in Wheelchair and Seating and, equipment prescription. Be able to demonstrate an understanding of the rehabilitation framework. Willingness to network and build relationships. Willing to travel and have effective time management skills Experience in working with acquired brain injury or spinal cord injury rehabilitation is important, but training can be provided for the right person. Knowledge of ACC contracts would be preferable but not essential. Accreditation in wheelchair and seating - desirable A valid and clean driver's licence.
