Night and Afternoon Team Leader Opportunities The Team Leader acts in support of the Shift Supervisors and Senior Production Team to supervise, guide, and develop production staff, ensuring safe, high-quality, and efficient operations. Team Leaders oversee production, monitor staff performance, deliver training via the buddy system, and uphold Health & Safety and Food Safety standards. They step onto the line as required to provide coaching, support throughput, cover rolling breaks, or address urgent issues. Our night shift positions work a permanent Sunday to Thursday roster from 10pm to 6:30am Our afternoon positions work either a permanent Monday to Friday or Sunday to Thursday roster from 2pm to 10:30pm Key responsibilities Oversee production line setup, start-up checks, and shift handovers Ensure production schedules are met: correct product, line, and timing Monitor line performance, output, yield, and downtime; elevate issues promptly Allocate labour, manage breaks, and ensure staff remain productive and in correct locations Maintain equipment readiness, perform basic troubleshooting, and report faults to Maintenance Ensure all staff follow GMP, hygiene, allergen, and food safety procedures Verify completion and accuracy of production paperwork before handover to QA Deliver training via the buddy system and monitor competency sign-offs Provide real-time coaching on SOPs, equipment, quality, and H&S procedures Ensure all team members follow PPE, SOPs, and company H&S policies About you Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills Ability to work on the line alongside team members while supervising Good literacy and numeracy skills Strong focus on H&S, food safety, and quality compliance Physically capable of performing line duties Ability to deliver structured training and ensure competency sign-offs #J-18808-Ljbffr
