The opportunity - Te āheinga This is a three-year, fixed-term opportunity supporting Council's ERP Programme. We're looking for an ERP Information Management SME to help ensure Information Management is embedded into one of Council's most significant transformation programmes. This is a unique role that bridges Information Management and project delivery. The successful candidate will initially work alongside Council's Information Management team, gaining a strong understanding of our information governance framework, systems, legislative obligations and ways of working, before transitioning into the ERP Programme to provide dedicated Information Management expertise. Working closely with project teams, business stakeholders and vendors, you'll help ensure information, records and governance requirements are considered throughout the design, implementation and adoption of Council's future ERP solution. Provide Information Management expertise to the ERP Programme. Support business process design, testing and implementation activities. Ensure information governance and legislative requirements are incorporated into ERP processes and solutions. Identify risks, impacts and improvement opportunities relating to Information Management. Support user testing, training and change activities. Work collaboratively with project teams, SMEs and business stakeholders to support successful project outcomes. Contribute to improving Information Management practices across Council We're looking for a practical and collaborative Information Management professional who enjoys working across projects, systems and organisational improvement initiatives. You will bring: Experience in Information Management, Records Management or Information Governance. Knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Public Records Act and Privacy Act. Experience working with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, EDRMS or other information management systems. Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. An interest in business improvement, organisational change and project delivery. Experience supporting ERP, technology or transformation programmes would be advantageous.
